I can't help it, I love the broken ones
Like A Rose
Like a rose,
She is beautiful ... And tempting to touch,
But only from a distance ... Is her beauty all that much.
Like a rose,
She is delicate ... A creation from above
But only from a distance ... Was she meant to be so loved.
Like a rose,
Her scent is sweet ... She takes your breath away,
But only from the garden ... Where she must always stay.
Like a rose,
She is beautiful ... And tempting to take,
But do not fall in love ... For your own heart's sake.
Like a rose,
She is beautiful ... But do not deceived,
The thorns she holds around her ... Will cause your heart to bleed.
Like a rose,
No one can have her ... Without having to say goodbye,
But if she is not taken ... She will only live and die.
Like a rose,
She can't be handled ... For her petals will surely fall,
But love her from a distance ... And she'll share her love with all.
